Men Robbed and Assaulted by Group Wearing Hi-Vis Jackets in Cirencester

Last night in Cirencester, three men in their 20s were victims of a robbery and assault. The attackers, described as a group of four or five men in yellow hi-vis jackets, confronted the victims near the King’s Head Hotel on Market Place around 10pm.

The confrontation began with a conversation before turning violent, with one of the men in a hi-vis jacket punching a victim and using a stick to further attack them. The altercation resulted in the victims being punched to the ground and robbed of their wallets and mobile phones.

Earlier in the evening, the group of men in hi-vis jackets, reportedly with Welsh accents, had been behaving rowdily in the Black Horse pub. The instigator of the violence is described as a small man with a large build, ginger hair, and tattoos on his neck.
