Masked Men Attack Property and Set Range Rover Ablaze in Gloucester

A disturbing incident unfolded on Bloomfield Road, Gloucester, late on Saturday night, November 8, when a group of masked men vandalized a home and set fire to a Range Rover.

Gloucestershire Police responded to reports around 11 pm that a white Range Rover had been deliberately set on fire. Witnesses described seeing a white Polo hatchback pull up at the property, from which two men wearing hooded tops and balaclavas emerged carrying metal poles.

According to the police, the men first smashed the windows of the property before igniting the Range Rover parked on the street. One of the attackers may have sustained injuries while starting the fire. Afterwards, the pair returned to the car where a third man was waiting and the vehicle drove off towards Stroud Road.

Officers have since been conducting house-to-house inquiries in the neighborhood and reviewing CCTV and ring doorbell footage to identify the suspects. Investigators are exploring the possibility that the attack was a case of mistaken identity involving the victims.

Gloucestershire Police have issued a public appeal for any witnesses or anyone with additional footage to come forward. They ask that information be shared via the police website, referencing incident number 541 of November 8.
