A heartbreaking burglary took place last week in the Cotswolds, where three masked men invaded a home and stole jewellery of great sentimental value. Gloucestershire Police report that the incident occurred on Purley Avenue, Cirencester, between 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 19.
CCTV footage captured three men entering the property before fleeing in a small car. The stolen items include a distinctive gold ring featuring a purple amethyst heart, a gold ring adorned with small gold flowers, and a pair of silver stud earrings containing brown tiger eye gemstones — pieces that clearly held deep meaning for the owners.
Police have released images of the suspects and are appealing for public assistance. The first man was seen wearing a white face covering, a dark jacket with a white hood visible at the back, baggy light-colored trousers, and white-and-black trainers. The second wore a light-colored hooded jacket with small front zips, a face covering up to the eyes, a light cap, dark trousers, dark trainers with white rims, and black gloves with a white logo. The third man was dressed in a light hooded jacket, dark cap, light-colored trousers, and black gloves.
