Matthew Randolph, a former Gloucestershire police and crime commissioner candidate, has had his injunction order extended for another two years. The extension comes as a result of his threatening behavior towards Cheltenham MP Max Wilkinson and multiple local councils.
The Gloucestershire Constabulary successfully applied for the initial injunction order against Randolph in July last year. This order, originally set to expire soon, has now been extended until March 11, 2027, by Bristol County Court Judge Leslie Blohm KC. The court found that the conduct in question involved threatened use of violence and posed a significant risk of harm to individuals.
As per the extended order, Randolph is prohibited from directly or indirectly contacting Cheltenham MP Max Wilkinson, attending council meetings in person, or interacting with staff at various local government offices. He is also barred from contacting the Police and Crime Commissioner, his deputy, and their office, along with Tewkesbury Borough Council and One Legal.

Randolph’s history of disruptive behavior includes an incident at a Gloucester City Council meeting where he defied the mayor and threatened legal action. Despite his confrontational actions, he managed to secure a significant number of votes as an independent candidate in the PCC elections.
