A man suffered facial and arm injuries following an assault in Gloucester city centre on Saturday, November 15. The incident occurred at approximately 9:10 pm on Worcester Street when the victim was punched and attacked by another man.
Witnesses reported that the suspect struck the victim and continued the attack on the road before fleeing the scene in a red car. Gloucestershire Police responded promptly and arrested a 20-year-old Gloucester resident on suspicion of assault.
The suspect has since been released under investigation as the police continue their enquiries. Authorities believe there were several witnesses in the area, including pedestrians and motorists, who may have seen the attack.

Officers are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage, CCTV recordings, or firsthand accounts of the incident to come forward. Those with information who have not yet spoken to police are urged to contact them online, quoting incident number 459 of November 15.
