Man Stabbed While Sitting in Car in Gloucester: Suspect Arrested

A man was stabbed in the arm while sitting inside his car in Gloucester on the evening of Saturday, June 20.

Gloucestershire Police received a report around 6:15 pm about an altercation at the junction of York Road and Eastern Avenue. According to the victim, he was sitting in his vehicle when the driver of a white Volkswagen approached, opened the car door, and stabbed him in the arm.

Following enquiries, a 31-year-old man from Gloucester was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. After questioning, he was released on police bail while the investigation continues.

The victim sought medical attention at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and has since been discharged. Police believe the individuals involved in the incident are known to each other and have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
