A man in his 20s was seriously injured in a suspected stabbing incident in Cheltenham on Wednesday, February 4. Emergency services were called to the St Mark’s area at approximately 1:05 pm following reports of an assault.
The incident reportedly occurred between 12:56 pm and 1:00 pm on Princess Elizabeth Way, near the junction of Cowper Road and Shelley Road. The victim was airlifted to hospital by air ambulance to receive treatment for his injuries.
Gloucestershire Constabulary confirmed that a man was arrested in connection with the attack but has since been released on police bail. Authorities also reported that a vehicle parked nearby was damaged prior to the assault.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the attack. CCTV footage, house-to-house inquiries, and a forensic examination of the scene are all part of the ongoing investigation.
