Man Seriously Injured in Early Morning Gloucester City Centre Attack

A man sustained serious injuries following an attack in Gloucester city centre during the early hours of Thursday, May 14. The incident occurred at approximately 3:40 a.m. on Eastgate Street, close to The Cross.

Gloucestershire Police responded promptly after receiving reports that one man had assaulted another. The victim was rushed to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, where he currently remains in a serious but stable condition.

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) arrived at the scene to conduct thorough inquiries. A forensic examination is underway to gather further evidence. Witnesses have seen a police tent set up with uniformed officers present as part of the ongoing investigation.
