A man in his 50s was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Cheltenham on February 20. The incident occurred around 2:15 pm in the St Paul’s area when a Nissan Micra, driven by a woman in her 70s, hit the pedestrian. The car also collided with a parked Mercedes on St Paul’s Road.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, quickly responded to the scene. The injured man was transported by land ambulance to Southmead Hospital in Bristol, where he remains in serious condition as of February 21.
The driver received medical checks from paramedics at the scene but was not reported to have serious injuries. The road was closed temporarily to manage the situation but reopened later that evening.

Gloucestershire Constabulary is conducting inquiries and requests anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage to come forward. Witnesses can report information online, referencing incident number 224 of February 20.
