A man in his 50s has been left with serious injuries after being struck by a car in Cheltenham on Friday, February 20.
The collision occurred around 2:15 pm in the St Paul’s area when a Nissan Micra, driven by a woman in her 70s, hit the man on St Paul’s Road. Following the impact, the vehicle also collided with a parked Mercedes.
Emergency services, including the air ambulance, quickly responded to the scene. The injured man was transported by land ambulance to Southmead Hospital in Bristol, where he remains in serious condition as of Saturday, February 21.

The driver was assessed by paramedics at the scene and did not require hospital treatment. The road was temporarily closed but was reopened later that evening.
Gloucestershire Constabulary is conducting enquiries and is urging any witnesses or individuals with dashcam footage of the incident to come forward. Information can be submitted online, referencing incident 224 of February 20.
