A man, Bryan Robson, has been sentenced to 21 years and nine months in prison for attempting to murder his neighbour in a brutal attack. The incident, which took place on Moorfield Street in Hereford, resulted in the victim sustaining potentially life-threatening injuries.
Robson, 50, pleaded guilty to the charge of attempted murder at Worcester Crown Court. Following a call to the police on October 9, officers found a 42-year-old man at the scene with multiple stab wounds to his abdomen and arms. A three-inch bladed knife was recovered from the location, and the victim was rushed to the hospital via air ambulance in a serious condition.
After spending four weeks in hospital and undergoing surgery, the victim gradually began to recover. Meanwhile, Robson was held in custody and subsequently charged with the offences.
