A man standing in the doorway of public toilets at Gloucester Transport Hub reportedly made inappropriate and sexualised remarks towards two teenage girls, leaving them shaken. The incident occurred around 5:10pm on Tuesday, 8 September.
Gloucestershire Police confirmed that the man approached the teenagers and made comments of a sexual nature, which led the victims to contact the authorities promptly.
Following a review of CCTV footage, a 36-year-old Gloucester man was arrested on suspicion of using threatening, abusive or insulting words with the intent to cause harassment, alarm, or distress. This is considered a public order offence, commonly motivated by the victim’s sex or presumed sex.

The individual has since been released on bail, with strict conditions prohibiting him from entering Gloucester Transport Hub while investigations continue.
