Man left with broken jaw after group assault in Gloucester

A man suffered a broken jaw after being assaulted by a group of men in Gloucester. The incident occurred on Parliament Street shortly before midnight on Sunday, December 21.

According to Gloucestershire Police, five or six men approached the victim. One of the assailants asked him for a cigarette and lighter before launching the attack. The victim’s injuries were severe enough to require surgery.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information about the suspects to come forward. Currently, officers have limited details about the group and are actively investigating the case.
