A man in his 30s is currently hospitalized with possible fractures after being attacked with baseball bats by two assailants in Gloucester. The incident occurred at approximately 12:50 a.m. on Sunday, May 18, on Rectory Road in the Matson area.
According to Gloucestershire Constabulary, officers responded swiftly to reports of two men assaulting another man with baseball bats. The attackers dropped the bats and fled the scene shortly after the assault.
The victim was transported to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment and remains under medical care.

Police have arrested a 35-year-old Gloucester resident on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm. He is currently in police custody as the investigation continues.
