A man in his 50s was seriously injured in a brutal assault on Stroud Road, Gloucester, in the early hours of Thursday, June 12. Emergency services responded to reports of the attack at around 2 a.m., promptly taking the victim to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment. Thankfully, he has since been discharged.
Gloucestershire Police quickly established a cordon around the scene to conduct a thorough investigation. Officers are now appealing to anyone who witnessed the attack or has relevant footage — such as CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell recordings — to come forward.
In an official statement, Gloucestershire Police urged the public: “We are seeking witnesses to this serious assault. If you have any information or footage that could assist our enquiries, please report it to us.”
