Man Hospitalised Following Altercation on Gloucester Bus

A man was taken to hospital with a facial injury following an altercation between two men on a bus in Gloucester.

The incident occurred on Station Road at approximately 12:10pm on Monday, August 3. Gloucestershire Police were called to the scene to respond to the dispute.

One of the men sustained a cut to his face and subsequently sought treatment at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. Police have stated that the injury is not believed to have been inflicted by a knife.

Witnesses at the scene reported a significant emergency service presence in the area during the investigation.

Authorities arrested a 47-year-old man from Cheltenham on suspicion of racially aggravated assault, and a 30-year-old man, also from Cheltenham, on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. Both individuals have since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
