Gloucestershire Police are appealing for information following a disturbing incident in Stratford Park, Stroud. In the early hours of Sunday, June 29, a man exposed himself and demanded a sexual act from a woman.
Between midnight and 12:25 a.m., the suspect approached the victim, exposing himself and attempting to grab her arm. After the confrontation, he walked toward the park’s bandstand.
The man is described as white, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, with thinning brown hair and a goatee beard. He appeared to be in his mid to late 30s. At the time, he was wearing a moss-green fleeced hooded top, shorts, and black and white trainers, and was carrying a green bag.

Investigators have conducted several inquiries, including reviewing available CCTV footage. Officials are now seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
A Gloucestershire Police spokesperson said: “We are asking anyone who recognizes this description or witnessed suspicious behavior in Stratford Park around that time to come forward. You can contact us via our website, quoting incident number 10 of June 29.”
Members of the public can also provide information anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or submitting details online. Reporters may be eligible for a reward of up to £1,000.
