An 18-year-old man has been charged following the suspected stabbing of a 15-year-old boy at a park in Stroud during the weekend. Gloucestershire Police responded to reports at Slad Road shortly after 7.25pm on Saturday, 12 September. The teenage victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident.
Chace Stevens, who resides in the Middle Leazes area of Stroud, faces charges including inflicting grievous bodily harm, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. He has been remanded in custody ahead of his court appearance.
Stevens is due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on Monday, 14 September. A Gloucestershire Police spokesperson confirmed the details of the charges and the victim’s condition, emphasising the ongoing investigation into the suspected stabbing at the park.
