Man Charged Following Serious Stabbing in Cirencester

A 32-year-old man has been charged in connection with a violent stabbing incident in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. The attack occurred in the early hours of Saturday, May 24, leaving a man in his twenties seriously injured.

Gloucestershire Constabulary launched an attempted murder investigation after responding to reports of a stabbing at around 1 a.m. on Matthews Walk. The victim sustained multiple stab wounds and is currently receiving treatment at Southmead Hospital in Bristol.

George Price, from Middle Mead, Cirencester, was arrested and subsequently charged with section 18 wounding with intent, possession of a knife in a public place, and racially aggravated harassment without violence. He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on Monday, May 26.
