Man banned from Gloucester city centre after sexual assault allegations

A man in his 20s has been banned from entering Gloucester city centre as part of his bail conditions following his arrest on suspicion of sexual assault. The man, who is of no fixed address, was required to report to Bearland police station last Friday, October 2.

The incident occurred on Sunday, September 27, when two teenage girls reported being sexually assaulted. According to police, an unknown man touched the two girls on their waist and bottom without their consent around 6.45pm on Station Road in Gloucester.

Police responded promptly, attending the scene and conducting searches in the area. The man was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault in connection with the reports. After being interviewed, he was released on bail with conditions that prohibit him from entering the city centre and require him to attend the police station as directed.
