A man wearing a pink dress, stockings, black boots, and a long brown wig was reported engaging in indecent behavior beside a main road in Cirencester. The incident occurred around 7 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17, along Spine Road in South Cerney.
Police responded promptly after receiving reports of the man masturbating on a grass verge adjacent to the road. Officers arrested a man in his 50s from Wiltshire on suspicion of indecent exposure. He has since been questioned and released on bail with conditions, pending further investigation.
Authorities are appealing to residents and motorists in the area who may have witnessed the incident or possess dashcam footage to come forward. The police have emphasized the importance of any information that can aid their inquiry.
