A man was arrested after reportedly attempting to punch a woman he knew, then assaulting two other members of the public in Gloucester. The incident occurred outside Paddy Power on Southgate Street between 5:40 pm and 5:55 pm on Thursday, March 12.
According to Gloucestershire Constabulary, the man pushed the woman to the ground and tried to punch her before turning on two bystanders, kicking and punching them. Fortunately, all three victims sustained only minor injuries that did not require medical treatment.
Officers quickly responded to the scene and arrested a 39-year-old Gloucester man on suspicion of three counts of assault. He has since been released on bail while investigations continue.

Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has CCTV or mobile phone footage from the area to come forward. Authorities believe several people nearby may hold essential information to aid the enquiry.
