A 39-year-old Cheltenham man, Richard Cooper, has pleaded guilty to drug-related charges after a significant cocaine seizure in the town. Cooper admitted to possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, as well as possession of criminal property.
The drug bust came after Gloucestershire Police executed multiple warrants across Cheltenham last week. Alongside a large quantity of cocaine, officers confiscated £40,000 in cash during the operation.
Cooper, who resides on Waterloo Street, appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on Friday, July 4, where he entered guilty pleas for the charges against him.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to be sentenced at Gloucester Crown Court on Friday, August 1.
The police carried out four separate warrants in the St Pauls and Hatherley areas, resulting in the arrest of three men connected to the drugs investigation.
