M5 Northbound Delays Up to 90 Minutes After Caravan Jackknife Incident

Traffic on the M5 in Gloucestershire is facing significant disruption following a jackknife incident involving a van towing a caravan. The crash occurred shortly before 1pm today (June 11) between junctions 14 and 13 on the northbound carriageway.

According to Gloucestershire Police, no serious injuries have been reported, but two lanes remain closed while recovery operations are underway. This has resulted in extensive traffic delays stretching along the affected stretch of the motorway.

National Highways has confirmed that delays are currently estimated at around 90 minutes compared to normal travel times. Congestion is concentrated between junctions 14 and 13, causing frustration for commuters and travelers alike.
