One contestant garnering widespread acclaim is Love Island alum Chris Hughes, who has a surprising backstory in the music scene.

Chris first shot to fame on Love Island in 2017, where he made it to the final with his then-partner Olivia Attwood. Post-villa, Chris ventured into the music industry, teaming up with his Love Island co-star Kem Cetinay to form a musical duo. Their debut single, “Little Bit Leave It,” achieved significant success, reaching number fifteen on the UK Singles Chart in 2017. Despite this, the musical collaboration was short-lived, with both artists pursuing solo projects afterward.

Following this, Chris made appearances on various reality shows, including Tipping Point: Lucky Stars, Celebrity Hunted, and Pointless Celebrities, in addition to starring in his own documentary, “Me, My Brother and Our Balls.” He also became a familiar face on ITV Racing, providing live coverage at prestigious events like Royal Ascot, Cheltenham Festival, and The Grand National.

Amidst his stint on Celebrity Big Brother, Chris made headlines for defending fellow housemate JoJo against “offensive and unacceptable” comments made by another contestant, Mickey. This act of support earned Chris widespread praise from fans and viewers, who commended his integrity and kindness.

The show has seen fans flocking to social media to express their support for Chris, with many predicting his victory and lauding his character.

Celebrity Big Brother is now available for streaming on ITVX.
