Gloucester Quays was buzzing with excitement as a long line of eager shoppers awaited the opening of Søstrene Grene’s newest store. The Scandinavian homeware brand launched its first Gloucester location on Friday, adding to its existing store at The Brewery Quarter in Cheltenham.
Peel Retail & Leisure described the new store as a significant addition, further cementing Gloucester Quays' status as a premier destination that blends city-centre convenience with top-tier high street and outlet shopping. Situated prominently at the main entrance from High Orchard Street, the spacious 3,987 sq ft shop offers an array of Scandinavian-inspired homewares, lifestyle accessories, furniture, and craft essentials.
To celebrate the grand opening, the first 100 customers were treated to a complimentary rug voucher, while guests enjoyed entertainment from ballet dancers and a live string duo at the entrance.
