Thomas Kingston, husband of Lady Gabriella Kingston—daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent—passed away on February 25, 2024, leaving behind an estate valued close to £1 million, according to newly released probate records.
Mr. Kingston, aged 45, tragically died from a gunshot wound at his parents' residence in the Cotswolds. The firearm was found near his body. An inquest held in December 2024 uncovered that he had been experiencing adverse effects from prescribed mental health medication. Gloucestershire’s senior coroner, Katy Skerrett, delivered a narrative conclusion following the investigation.
Despite dying intestate—without a will—Mr. Kingston’s estate has now been placed under the administration of his wife, Lady Gabriella. The couple was married in a ceremony at Windsor Castle in 2019.
