Katie Price’s sister, Sophie Price, has openly expressed her reservations about Katie’s sudden marriage to Lee Andrews. The former Celebrity Big Brother star surprised fans by announcing her engagement in January, followed by a rapid wedding just days later. Having known Lee for only a few weeks before tying the knot, Katie wryly likened their whirlwind romance to the reality series Married at First Sight.
During a recent episode of The Katie Price Show, Sophie responded to Katie’s joke with a hesitant “hmm” and a succinct, “I have no comment from me on that.” Katie teased, “Ahh, Sophie loves a no comment,” before steering the conversation elsewhere. However, tensions rose later in the podcast as the sisters confronted Katie’s impulsive behaviour.
Katie voiced her frustration about enduring criticism over her personal choices, despite nearing 50. Sophie challenged her, saying, “I think that’s on you,” to which Katie replied, “It’s not, I’m just living my life.” Sophie urged Katie to reconsider some of her decisions and adopt a more thoughtful approach, but Katie stood firm: “Are you absolutely kidding me? I couldn’t be any better than what I am — the version of me. It’s taken a long time to get here.”

Katie admitted she might continue to make bold choices in the future, much to Sophie’s dismay. “I think for the time being we just need a bit of calm,” Sophie said. Katie responded, “I’m always calm. It’s like whatever I do I always hear you lot in the back of my head, but it doesn’t stop me. I’m like, ‘It’s alright, I’ll sort it out.’” Sophie pushed back firmly, “No, this is what you need to stop doing — ‘Oh, it’s alright, I’ll sort it out.’ It’s not alright, and it affects us all.”
While Katie insisted on her independence, Sophie bluntly remarked, “I know, and half of the time they’re wrong.”
Katie’s marriage to Lee Andrews marks her fourth, following previous unions with Peter Andre, Alex Reid, and Kieran Hayler. Reflecting recently on Good Morning Britain about her rapid decision to remarry, she questioned, “Do you ever really know anyone? If you look at my past marriages, did I ever know they would be what they would be? Sometimes I don’t think you can ever know who anyone is.”
Having endured controlling and toxic relationships before, Katie said she now recognizes red flags and feels empowered to make her own choices. “It’s hard for anyone to understand. It just feels so right. I’ve only been in love twice before that, with Dane Bowers and Peter [Andre]. With Lee, it’s so different from every other relationship, and it works for me,” she concluded.
