Kate and William Address Epstein Scandal Involving Prince Andrew

The Prince and Princess of Wales have spoken out for the first time regarding the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein scandal involving Prince Andrew. Kensington Palace confirmed that William and Kate are “deeply concerned” by the latest revelations and remain focused on supporting the victims affected by the distressing situation.

Prince William is currently preparing for a three-day diplomatic tour in Saudi Arabia, where he will meet Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Ahead of the visit, a palace spokesperson emphasized the couple’s priority: “Their thoughts remain focused on the victims.”

The statement marks a significant moment as the Epstein case has overshadowed much of the royal family’s recent activities. The scandal intensified after U.S. authorities released millions of documents connected to Epstein, leading to new allegations against Prince Andrew and triggering investigations into individuals such as Lord Peter Mandelson for alleged misconduct.

Accusations include claims that Epstein sent a second woman to the UK for a sexual encounter with Andrew, and that the former prince requested a threesome with an exotic dancer at Epstein’s Florida residence. More recently, Andrew has been accused of sharing confidential reports from official trade visits to Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Singapore, during his time as the UK’s trade envoy.

Last year, Prince Andrew was stripped of his royal titles by King Charles III. Despite the mounting allegations, he continues to deny any wrongdoing. He recently moved from Royal Lodge to the Sandringham estate.

In the wake of these developments, the Duke of Edinburgh notably reminded the public to “remember the victims” when asked about the impact of the document release by the U.S. Department of Justice.
