Kaleb Cooper’s Cheeky Chipping Norton Joke in Role Away from Clarkson’s Farm

Kaleb Cooper, well known for his role on Clarkson’s Farm, showcased a new set of skills in a recently released video, injecting a touch of humour about his hometown of Chipping Norton along the way.

When asked by a cameraman what he might name his own burger restaurant, the 28-year-old responded with a cheeky grin, “Six fingers. I’m from Chipping Norton.” This playful remark alluded to the close-knit nature of the Chipping Norton community.

In the video, Kaleb exchanged his usual farming gear for the distinctive red and white uniform of the fast-food chain Five Guys, including a branded baseball cap and apron. Wearing rubber gloves, he prepared burgers for himself and the cameraman, taking a light-hearted break from his usual duties at Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm.

During his visit, Kaleb also asked about the origin of the restaurant’s name. He was told it derives from the Murrell family-the company’s founders-who had five sons.

The footage includes a segment where a Five Guys employee demonstrates the correct method of preparing burger patties to Kaleb. This clip was shared across Kaleb’s, Five Guys’, and Hawkstone lager’s Instagram accounts with the caption: “To celebrate the arrival of @cooper_kaleb’s British grown and farmed cider - to sit in the fridge alongside our Hawkstone lager @fiveguysuk (where the burgers and fries are also now supporting British farmers) ..Kaleb prepares a delicious freshly made burger .. #backbritishfarmingdrinkhawkstone.”

The post sparked a variety of reactions from viewers. One joked, “Don’t tell me JC has you flipping burgers to make up for the poor harvest?” Another remarked on Clarkson’s knack for recognising and nurturing talent, praising Kaleb for seizing the opportunity. Fans also engaged with playful comments about burger toppings and Kaleb’s cooking abilities.

This footage appears as Kaleb, Jeremy Clarkson, Lisa Hogan, and the team at Diddly Squat Farm are busy with harvest preparations, although recent heatwaves in the UK have posed challenges to their agricultural work.

The sixth series of Clarkson’s Farm is currently in production, following a dramatic fifth season during which Jeremy Clarkson revealed his diagnosis of aggressive prostate cancer at 66. Thankfully, he underwent successful treatment after the series was filmed a year ago.
