The much-anticipated fifth season of Clarkson’s Farm is set to premiere on Prime Video on June 3rd, bringing fresh adventures and unexpected twists to the beloved Diddly Squat Farm. However, recent previews hint at uncertain times ahead for fan-favorite farmhand Kaleb Cooper.
During a segment on ITV’s Good Morning Britain on May 18th, viewers caught their first glimpse of the upcoming season. The highlight was a trailer featuring Jeremy Clarkson introducing a robotic, driverless tractor—a bold new addition to the farm’s operations. Jeremy’s enthusiasm met a skeptical response from Kaleb, who quipped, “That is basically taking my job,” as he watched the autonomous machinery at work.
Despite Jeremy calling it “the Starship Enterprise of farming,” the robotic tractor faltered mid-field, prompting a sarcastic Kaleb to reassure, “That went well,” signaling his job remains intact for now. The clip also showed Jeremy rushing off after receiving news that his wife went into labor, with Kaleb determined to finish the field before attending to anything else.

Prime Video’s full trailer reveals even more storylines this season: from Jeremy’s claims of raising Easy Care Sheep contested by Kaleb, to the arrival of a newborn calf and a birthday celebration for Gerald Cooper. Not everything runs smoothly though—Jeremy ends up requiring hospital treatment, and the farm is shaken by a protest.
Commissioned in November 2023 and filmed throughout last year, season five will be released in three parts over three weeks: June 3rd, 10th, and 17th, comprising a total of eight episodes.
The official synopsis teases, “Clarkson’s Farm is back, and amidst a government budget that sends the UK farming community into uproar, Jeremy decides some big changes are needed to make the farm run more smoothly. But while the farm tries to go high-tech—resulting in Kaleb’s first ever trip abroad—even bigger developments are heading for Diddly Squat that are going to prove much more of a challenge.”
With technology reshaping farming life and new challenges on the horizon, season five promises to be an unmissable chapter in Clarkson’s Farm saga.
