Clarkson’s Farm returns to Prime Video with its fourth season, delivering new moments from Diddly Squat Farm. This episode featured farm manager Kaleb Cooper, along with Jeremy Clarkson and Lisa Hogan, witnessing a surprising event in the pig pen.
The team celebrated the birth of 10 healthy piglets from one of the sows, a development Jeremy Clarkson called “tremendous news.” However, attention soon shifted to a smaller piglet from an earlier litter named Richard Ham, who had been isolated due to bullying from his older siblings.
Veterinarian Dilwyn Evans proposed a strategy to help Richard Ham by introducing him to the smallest male piglet in a special pen so they could bond, with plans to gradually integrate them into the larger male pen. Jeremy explained that without this approach, Richard Ham risked being attacked or killed by the bigger boars.

Despite initial assurances from Kaleb that the introduction would be successful, tensions arose quickly. Moments after the two piglets met, the larger pig mounted Richard Ham in what appeared to be a mating attempt. Both Jeremy and Kaleb expressed shock at the unexpected behavior, with Kaleb exclaiming, “I have never seen that before.”
Kaleb speculated that Richard Ham might not have recognized his own gender and assumed the advance was directed at a female. After consulting with Dilwyn, the vet reassured them that this was typical behavior among young male pigs, essentially “boys being boys,” and advised them to observe how Richard Ham would interact with the other boars over time.
This surprising but natural incident provided the crew with an unforgettable first experience on Diddly Squat Farm, adding humor and insight into farm life on Clarkson’s latest adventure.
