Kaleb Cooper Moved to Tears as Jeremy Clarkson Reveals Cancer Diagnosis on Clarkson’s Farm

Television presenter Jeremy Clarkson has opened up about being diagnosed with cancer, revealing the difficult news during a recent episode of his show, Clarkson’s Farm.

The 66-year-old made the heartfelt announcement while speaking with farm manager Charlie Ireland and farmhand Kaleb Cooper amid the harvest. Clarkson shared, “I’ve got cancer. I’ve known since May.”

He explained that following a medical examination in May, he underwent a biopsy which confirmed the disease. “It’s aggressive, but it’s really early, so the treatment will be, you know,” he told his colleagues.

Clarkson detailed that about 10 percent of his prostate, specifically the cancer-affected area, was removed via ultrasound. While he is recovering well and feeling fine while standing, he admitted sitting on a tractor remains uncomfortable.

Reflecting on a challenging year alongside Charlie, Kaleb, Gerald Cooper, and his girlfriend Lisa Hogan, Clarkson said, “We started the year with me having coronary heart disease and ended it with cancer. We can dwell on the bad things, but it’s better now to focus on the positive.”

He mentioned ongoing blood tests and offered an optimistic note: “Come on cheer up, it probably did work.”

The revelation deeply affected his co-star Kaleb Cooper, who was seen wiping away tears. During another moment in the episode, Kaleb expressed, “I’m missing hearing Jeremy’s voice over the radio. It’s going to sound really soppy, but I don’t miss his skill—I miss him as a friend. This is our thing.”

Jeremy Clarkson later addressed viewers from his hospital bed, sharing that his medical journey had been fraught with challenges. “We started season five with me in a hospital bed, and now at the end of season five, I’m back in one,” he said.

He concluded with a touching message: “If this is all successful, I’ll see you for season six. If it isn’t, I won’t. Take care everyone.”

Clarkson’s Farm is currently available to stream on Prime Video.
