Kaleb Cooper Headlines Hawkstone’s Maiden TV Commercial

Hawkstone, the beer and cider brand launched by Jeremy Clarkson, made its television debut last night with a memorable 40-second advertisement that aired just before England’s FIFA World Cup match against Croatia. The star of the advert was none other than Kaleb Cooper from Diddly Squat Farm.

Titled ‘Kaleb’s Leap’, the ad creatively highlights the dedication behind each pint of Hawkstone. The scene captures a freshly poured pint being knocked over, prompting Kaleb to execute a dramatic slow-motion dive to save it. As he soars through the air, viewers are treated to a montage reflecting the demanding life of farming — filled with mud, sweat, and relentless effort.

This humorous campaign cleverly plays on the brand’s slogan, ‘Hard to make, Easy to drink’, emphasizing the craftsmanship involved in producing a genuine British beer.

Kaleb Cooper shared his thoughts on the experience: “It was a long day for just 40 seconds on the telly. I could’ve harvested an entire field in that time! But if it helps people appreciate the effort behind a proper British beer, then it’s definitely worth it. Plus, I was pretty pleased with my first ever stunt.”
