Jordan Thomas, the 25-year-old winger, has agreed to join Doncaster Rovers after departing Cheltenham Town at the end of his contract this summer, according to Gloucestershire Live.
Thomas spent two and a half years with Cheltenham Town, joining from non-league side Bath City in January 2024 for a fee of £5,000. During his time at the Robins, he made 78 starts and 27 substitute appearances across all competitions, netting 17 goals.
His 2023-24 season was hampered by a six-week shoulder injury early on, a period when Barnsley showed interest in signing him. This summer, Thomas was reportedly close to moving to Oxford United, but the transfer fell through due to the club being placed under a transfer embargo.

Now, Thomas will link up with Doncaster Rovers, managed by former Cheltenham midfielder Grant McCann. Doncaster have also bolstered their squad by signing fellow ex-Cheltenham players Alfie May and Isaac Hutchinson, while Hakeeb Adelakun joined earlier this year after a brief spell at Whaddon Road.
In other Cheltenham news, the Robins face Slimbridge in their second pre-season friendly this Saturday at 2pm, where new signings Wyll Stanway and Shaun McWilliams could make their first appearances.
