Jordan Thomas has agreed to join Doncaster Rovers after parting ways with Cheltenham Town, Gloucestershire Live reports.
The 25-year-old winger left Cheltenham at the end of his contract this summer, concluding a two-and-a-half-year spell with the club. Thomas initially joined the Robins from non-league Bath City in January 2021 for a £5,000 fee. During his time at Cheltenham, he made 78 starts and 27 substitute appearances across all competitions, netting 17 goals.
Early last season, Thomas suffered a shoulder injury that sidelined him for six weeks. During that period, Barnsley showed interest in securing his services. This summer, he was reportedly close to signing with Oxford United until the club faced a transfer embargo, halting the move.

Now, Thomas will reunite with former Cheltenham midfielder Grant McCann, who currently manages League One side Doncaster Rovers. Doncaster has bolstered their squad with several ex-Cheltenham players this transfer window, including Alfie May and Isaac Hutchinson. Additionally, Hakeeb Adelakun, who joined in January after a brief spell at Whaddon Road, remains with the club.
Meanwhile, Cheltenham Town prepares for their second pre-season friendly against Slimbridge this Saturday at 2 pm, where new signings Wyll Stanway and Shaun McWilliams may make their debuts.
