Jesy Nelson Overwhelmed with Emotion Ahead of Heartfelt Prime Video Documentary

Jesy Nelson became emotional as she opened up about her personal struggles while preparing to launch her new documentary series, Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix. The six-part Prime Video series, premiering on February 13th, offers fans an honest and unprecedented look at Jesy’s life following her departure from Little Mix and her journey through motherhood.

The documentary captures pivotal moments, including Jesy’s difficult pregnancy and the arrival of her twin daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster. Shortly after their birth in 2025, Jesy and her former partner Zion Foster revealed that their daughters were diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1, a rare genetic condition that may prevent them from walking.

During a special screening before the release, Jesy became tearful reflecting on the footage. She candidly admitted the challenge of revisiting moments where her hopes for the future had since changed. “There’s just certain things that I say that probably may not happen, so I see everything differently now when I watch it,” she shared.

Despite the hardships, Jesy expressed gratitude for the opportunity to raise awareness about her daughters' diagnosis and the complications they faced, including Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome during pregnancy. “I’m proud that we are going to make a real change and raise a lot of awareness,” she said.

Jesy also opened up about co-parenting with Zion. “It’s been tough, but our girls are our main focus. They are happy and doing well, and that’s all we can ask for as their parents,” she stated.

The series portrays Jesy’s candid journey through the highs and lows of pregnancy, mental health battles, fame’s relentless pressures, and the controversies that followed her exit from Little Mix in 2020. It is described as an intimate and raw narrative of resilience, redemption, and hope.

Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix is available exclusively on Prime Video from February 13, offering a powerful testament to a woman reclaiming her voice and embracing a brighter future.
