Jeremy Clarkson’s Neighbour Speaks Out on Life Near His Famous Farm Amid Rising Tourism

Since the debut of Jeremy Clarkson’s Farm in 2021, the picturesque Cotswolds region has seen an influx of visitors eager to experience the locations featured in the popular series. One of Clarkson’s notable neighbours, Amanda Holden, has shared her thoughts on living near the farm and the changes brought by the show’s growing fame.

Amanda Holden, who owns property in the area alongside other celebrities like Simon Cowell, appeared on Heart Radio’s Breakfast Show to discuss the impact. While she appreciates the show, Amanda admitted that the resulting traffic congestion has been a challenge for locals.

“We don’t love the queues in the Cotswolds, but we love the show,” Amanda stated. She recalled visiting Clarkson’s farm early on but has avoided it since due to the large crowds and traffic jams. “I could probably just walk across the field, but I don’t want to trespass! The place has changed a lot.”

Jeremy Clarkson purchased the 1,000-acre estate near Chipping Norton in West Oxfordshire back in 2008 but took on active management only in recent years after the previous tenant left. The show chronicles his efforts to manage the farm’s daily challenges, including working alongside his farmhand Kaleb Cooper.

The upcoming fifth series marks Kaleb’s return after being absent from last season’s early episodes. Prime Video has teased new developments on the farm, including adaptations following a government budget shakeup affecting UK farmers, and hints at further transformations that will challenge Clarkson and his team.

Photographs previewing the new series show Jeremy, Kaleb, and long-time partner Lisa Hogan working together on the farm. Lisa, recently announced as presenter of ITV’s new dating show Farming for Love—a revitalised take on Farmer Wants a Wife—shared her excitement about hosting the programme.

“Farming is a way of life that requires resilience and patience, just like relationships,” Lisa told This Morning. “What I love about Farming for Love is its honesty—there’s nowhere to hide on a farm, which makes it a genuine way for people to connect. I’m thrilled to guide this group in their search for love.”

As Clarkson’s Farm continues to capture audiences and affect the local community, its blend of rural realities and engaging television drama keeps viewers and locals alike invested in what lies ahead.
