Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone Farmers Choir is preparing to take the stage in tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent grand final, igniting excitement and a humorous warning aimed at Simon Cowell. The Clarkson’s Farm star revealed that if the choir wins, he’ll “probably faint,” underscoring how much the competition means to him and the group he helped form.
In a recent column for The Sun, Clarkson shared, “The Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir was born a year ago, and after two spellbinding performances in the heats, they’ve made it to the final. I’ll be there, cheering them on. Even my hair is excited.”
Alongside his enthusiasm, Kaleb Cooper, a fellow choir member and Clarkson’s colleague, issued a playful threat to neighboring judge Simon Cowell: “If you say anything nasty about them, I’ll get in my tractor and f*** up your hedge.” Cowell, who owns a nearby £8 million Cotswolds farmhouse in Oxfordshire, is no stranger to the spotlight and has shown off his estate via Netflix promotions.

The choir originated when Clarkson aimed to bring together local farmers to sing cheeky, swearing songs advertising his Hawkstone beer brand. After putting out ads in farming publications, a group of enthusiastic agricultural workers united, delivering a unique and charming performance style that captured national attention.
Clarkson praised their talent and camaraderie, noting that despite their varied origins, the choir members chose to stick together beyond filming. “Farming is a lonely job, so it was good to feel part of a gang,” he said.
Now, the Hawkstone Farmers Choir could become the 19th winners in Britain’s Got Talent history, earning a £250,000 prize and a coveted spot at the Royal Variety Show. The grand finale airs tonight on ITV from 7pm to 9:30pm, featuring a diverse range of contestants including singers, magicians, and a drone art group.
Following their advancement to the final, Cooper posted a video of Clarkson joyfully punching the air in celebration. The choir responded with heartfelt thanks: “We just can’t believe it. Thank you all so much. Thank you for believing in us.”
Katryna Shell, a choir member and mother of three, offered insight into Clarkson’s character off-screen: “He is exactly how he is on TV. He’s so nice and genuinely interested in our journey.”
