The Not Very Grand Tour, a series of four episodes, has arrived on Prime Video, marking the final appearance of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May together on screen. The series offers a nostalgic retrospective of The Grand Tour’s most iconic moments.
The original presenting trio’s journey with The Grand Tour concluded in September 2024, and the show is set to continue with new presenters. Clarkson, aged 64, explained that the decision to end the original Grand Tour was influenced by the challenge of creating novel adventures for the show and the physical demands on the presenters as they aged.
According to Clarkson, the show had explored every possible car-related adventure, and it became increasingly challenging to devise new concepts. Fozia Khan, Amazon Studios’ head of unscripted in the UK, expressed confidence in the show’s potential to evolve under a new set of presenters.
Clarkson addressed James May’s comments about The Grand Tour “reunion,” asserting his presence in the series and refuting May’s claims about his absence.
The Not Very Grand Tour is now available for streaming on Prime Video as of April 18th.
