Jeremy Clarkson, the well-known presenter of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and former Top Gear star, has had a love life as eventful as his television career. At 64, he has been in a committed relationship with actress and model Lisa Hogan, 51, for the past seven years. Before finding lasting companionship with Lisa, Jeremy’s romantic history was far from smooth. His first marriage was to Alex Hall in 1989. The marriage lasted only a few years before Alex left him for one of his friends. Years later, she expressed regret over that choice, telling The Telegraph in 2011, “Leaving Jeremy was the biggest mistake of my life. I still love him, I always have.”
In 1993, Clarkson married his manager, Frances Cain. Together they had three children: Emily, Finlo, and Katya. Their marriage, however, became embroiled in controversy in 1999 when Alex Hall claimed to have had a decade-long affair with Jeremy. Clarkson and Frances eventually split in 2014 amid reports that he had grown close to his personal assistant Phillipa Sage during his Top Gear days. Their relationship lasted until 2017, at which point Jeremy was seen publicly with Lisa Hogan. Phillipa later shared her perspective on their breakup with Mail Online, describing feelings of heartbreak and betrayal when Clarkson transitioned his affections to Lisa. Despite these public accounts, Clarkson has never directly commented on these allegations.
Today, Jeremy and Lisa enjoy a stable life together. Lisa has made it clear that marriage is not part of her plans, stating in Fabulous magazine, “Mrs Clarkson? No, thank you. I like Lisa Hogan.” Their partnership continues to thrive against a backdrop of public scrutiny and past turmoil.
