Jeremy Clarkson’s £95 Hawkstone Advent Calendar Sparks Delivery Complaints

Jeremy Clarkson’s £95 Hawkstone advent calendar, packed with an enticing selection of lagers, pale ales, ciders, and spirits, has drawn criticism—but not for its cost. Created by the former Top Gear host and his Diddly Squat Farm team, the calendar offers a unique festive experience combining beverages like gin and vodka with exclusive surprises and a holiday “to-do” list authored by Clarkson and his farm crew.

Although the advent calendar represents one of Clarkson’s latest successful ventures, some customers have expressed frustration over delayed deliveries. Many fear their calendars won’t arrive in time for the start of advent on November 30, despite orders being promised for dispatch from November 1.

After pre-orders launched on September 30, the calendar quickly sold out, captivating Hawkstone enthusiasts eager to enjoy 13 beers, six ciders, and miniature spirit bottles, alongside branded Hawkstone merchandise tucked behind each door.

In response to the overwhelming demand, Clarkson is now offering a final calendar as a giveaway to customers who spend £40 or more on the Hawkstone website before November 21.

While some buyers shared excitement about receiving their orders, others voiced complaints on social media about still waiting. Comments ranged from inquiries on dispatch timing to humorous jabs at delivery services, reflecting a mix of anticipation and disappointment.

Founder of Hawkstone Lager since 2021, Jeremy Clarkson initially launched the brand exclusively at his Diddly Squat Farm before expanding online. His popular documentary series, Clarkson’s Farm, which follows the challenges of managing his 1,000-acre Oxfordshire farm, has earned wide acclaim and boosted Hawkstone’s profile.

As customers await their deliveries, Hawkstone has yet to publicly address the shipping delays. Fans remain hopeful their festive countdown will arrive before the season’s first advent Sunday.
