Jeremy Clarkson is set to auction three classic cars he drove during his time on the motoring show ‘The Grand Tour’. The announcement comes ahead of the vehicles' sale at the NEC Classic Motor Show on November 14, with the reason for selling expected to be revealed in the forthcoming season of his series ‘Clarkson’s Farm’, according to Iconic Auctioneers.
Clarkson reflected on the decision to part with the vehicles, stating, “I rarely get a chance these days to drive or enjoy these very special and quite famous cars, so it’s probably for the best if they end up with someone who can.”
The first car up for auction is a 1982 Lancia Montecarlo Spider, notable as the last car Clarkson drove on ‘The Grand Tour’. Finished in Lotus Blue, this vehicle featured in the ‘One for the Road’ episode, which marked the final programme with Clarkson alongside co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May. It underwent special modifications for the show, including rear lights from a Ferrari 308, quad tailpipes, Lancia Delta Integrale wheels, and a racing steering wheel. Clarkson purchased the car after filming concluded, and it is reported to start, run, and drive well.

Next is a 1983 Alfa Romeo GTV6, which Clarkson used during the ‘Well Aged Scotch’ episode - the very first Grand Tour show aired in 2019. This car was driven across Scotland’s scenic North Coast 500 route and has clocked 28,315 miles, with maintenance carried out in-house.
The final vehicle is a 1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V featured in the ‘Lochdown’ special. Powered by a 6.6-litre engine, the Lincoln was fitted with nitrous injection for the show, a modification still present today. It also carries unique additions such as a set of bagpipes in the boot and a Cartier clock.
These three distinctive cars will be offered during ‘The Iconic Sale’ event, held at the NEC Classic Motor Show later this year.
