The latest trailer for Clarkson’s Farm season 5 delivers a gripping glimpse into a health scare that saw presenter Jeremy Clarkson rushed to hospital.
In the clip, Jeremy shares with his colleague Kaleb Cooper that his heart “wasn’t getting any blood,” highlighting the severity of the situation. The trailer opens with familiar scenes from life at Diddly Squat Farm before taking a dramatic turn, showing an ambulance speeding through rural lanes and Jeremy appearing in hospital hooked up to monitoring equipment.
Jeremy explains to Kaleb, “You’ve got three arteries that feed your heart to keep it pumping. My heart wasn’t getting any blood.” Kaleb’s shocked reaction captures the emotional intensity, while another team member remarks on personal family experience with heart attacks, to which Jeremy responds with his characteristic dry humor.

This isn’t the first time Jeremy has faced heart troubles. Earlier in 2024, he underwent a procedure to insert a stent in a blocked artery after experiencing chest tightness. Writing in The Sunday Times, the 64-year-old recounted suspecting cardiac arrest, recalling, “I certainly wasn’t having a heart attack. But if it hadn’t looked that way, I never would have been sent to hospital.”
Alongside the health drama, the trailer offers a look at the challenges of running a farm, including a tuberculosis crisis. Jeremy also considers introducing autonomous farming machinery, announcing a driverless tractor idea to Charlie Ireland with “I’ve had a brainwave, don’t worry.” Charlie’s disbelief turns to bemusement as the tractor – humorously dubbed the “Starship Enterprise of farming” – comes to a halt mid-plough, prompting Kaleb to quip, “That went well.”
While Prime Video has yet to confirm if Clarkson’s Farm will be renewed past season 5, Jeremy has expressed enthusiasm for continuing the show, stating, “We’ll definitely do six – Amazon want to and I want to. I’ve got a good idea for six.” He added that he plans to stop only when he runs out of ideas, indicating possible future seasons beyond the upcoming one.
Clarkson’s Farm season 5 premieres on Prime Video with the first four episodes releasing on June 3, followed by batches on June 10 and 17.
