Jeremy Clarkson has candidly shared the impressive progress of his weight loss journey, revealing that he has shed three stone since January. The well-known TV presenter credits this transformation to weight-loss injections, improved lifestyle choices, and medical interventions that have significantly increased his energy levels.
In a recent interview promoting his upcoming quiz show, Millionaire Hot Seat, Clarkson told ITV that the combination of injections and fitting of stents has made a noticeable difference in his daily life. “I walk further, sleep better, and feel energised,” he said. Despite these changes, he still enjoys his favorite curry but has cut back on snacking—something he admits used to fill him up without him realizing the impact.
When asked directly about his weight loss, Clarkson succinctly stated: “Three stone since January.” This significant reduction has left him feeling healthier, more active, and motivated. The 65-year-old presenter emphasized his commitment to staying busy, noting that “without work, I would rot.”

Clarkson’s new venture, Millionaire Hot Seat, set to launch on ITV in January 2026, offers a fresh, fast-paced twist on the classic Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? format. The show features six contestants competing in a rotating chair line-up where only the player in the “hot seat” can answer questions. Contestants can pass to move to the back, but a wrong answer leads to elimination and reduces the prize pot.
Describing the new format, Clarkson said, “It’s a very expensive game of musical chairs. You can be the most brilliant player and go home with nothing, or you can be useless and win the prize.” He enjoys observing the players’ strategies, saying, “I love watching how human nature works—whether they help or sabotage each other.”
The series has already delivered emotional moments, including a £100,000 win by one contestant while others who supported her ended up empty-handed, yet celebrated her success graciously. “They were both entitled to feel aggrieved, but they didn’t,” Clarkson reflected.
This weight loss journey follows emergency heart surgery Clarkson underwent in late 2024, which motivated him to overhaul his health. His initial attempt using Ozempic faltered due to severe side effects that even led to weight gain, describing himself humorously as a “bulimic Henry VIII.” However, switching to Mounjaro proved to be a transformative “game changer,” helping him lose around two stone by curbing his appetite. Alongside injections, he adopted dietary improvements, cutting processed foods like bacon and chocolate, and embraced low-impact Reformer Pilates.
Clarkson’s experience highlights the challenging but rewarding path to better health, showcasing his renewed zest for life and work.
