Jeremy Clarkson has returned to filming the sixth series of his popular farming show, despite his recent battle with cancer. The 66-year-old presenter was spotted at the Cereals 2026 farming event taking place at his own Diddly Squat Farm, where cameras captured moments for the upcoming series.
In the latest season of his Prime Video show, Clarkson disclosed that he had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. The groundbreaking revelation was documented over the final two episodes of the fifth series. Since then, he has undergone treatment and shared openly about the challenges faced along the way.
Though he initially feared he might not make it to the next series, Clarkson’s appearance at the event suggested he is in good spirits. The Cereals 2026 event brought together over 500 exhibitors showcasing the newest innovations in agriculture, and Jeremy was seen laughing, joking with fellow farmers, and engaging warmly with attendees.

During the show, Clarkson candidly spoke about his cancer diagnosis. He explained to farm manager Charlie Ireland and farm hand Kaleb Cooper that he had known since May and that a biopsy confirmed the aggressive nature of the cancer. He revealed that approximately 10 percent of his prostate had been removed through ultrasound-guided surgery.
In the season finale, filmed in a hospital bed, Clarkson reflected on the treatment’s difficulties, noting it had bookended the filming season with hospital stays. He poignantly addressed viewers: “If this is all successful, I’ll see you for season six, and if it isn’t, I won’t. Take care, everyone.”
Beyond cancer, Clarkson also battled coronary heart disease during the same year but maintained a hopeful outlook. “We can dwell on all the bad things that have happened on the farm, but I think it’s better now to focus on the good things that have happened by the end of the year,” he said.
He warned fans that the final two episodes of series five were unusually somber and challenging, marking a departure from the show’s typical cheerful tone.
The much-anticipated sixth series of Clarkson’s Farm is expected to premiere in summer 2027, with fans eagerly awaiting more insight into Jeremy’s remarkable journey.
