Jeremy Clarkson is making a strong recovery following urgent heart surgery, according to his Clarkson’s Farm co-star Kaleb Cooper. The popular former Top Gear presenter is set to return to screens with the fifth series of Clarkson’s Farm, which continues to follow the duo tackling the challenges of managing Diddly Squat farm in Oxfordshire.
This upcoming season is marked not only by the familiar humor and camaraderie between Clarkson and Kaleb but also by significant personal developments. Kaleb welcomed his third child, while Clarkson faced serious health issues that nearly resulted in a heart attack.
Earlier this year, Clarkson was rushed to hospital after experiencing chest tightness and other alarming symptoms. Doctors discovered that one of his coronary arteries was completely blocked, another severely narrowed, and the third heavily clogged, drastically reducing blood flow to his heart. He underwent cardiac surgery in October 2024 to address these life-threatening conditions.

Kaleb Cooper spoke about Clarkson’s health on This Morning, reassuring fans that Clarkson is “in really good form.” He shared, “I was with him this morning; we had a cup of coffee before coming here. He seems really good.” Kaleb also expressed excitement about the new series dropping soon and described it as his favorite yet, citing the mix of business challenges and emotional moments captured on camera.
In a candid moment on the show, Clarkson humorously recounted his experience, saying, “I’m back and not dead. The Grim Reaper will have to wait. It was close, though.” He explained that noticing pins and needles in his arm while scrolling on his phone prompted him to seek medical help, which likely saved his life.
Clarkson’s Farm returns to Amazon Prime Video on June 3, promising viewers a season filled with heartfelt moments, farm challenges, and the unmistakable wit of Jeremy Clarkson.
