Jeremy Clarkson ‘In Good Form’ After Heart Surgery, Ready to Return in New Series

Kaleb Cooper, co-star of Clarkson’s Farm, has offered an uplifting update on Jeremy Clarkson’s health, following a serious heart condition that required emergency surgery in October 2024.

The popular farming series, now entering its fifth season, documents Clarkson’s ongoing efforts to manage his Diddly Squat farm in Oxfordshire, alongside the challenges faced by Kaleb. This latest installment not only captures the duo’s trademark humor and camaraderie but also delves into significant personal moments, including Kaleb celebrating the birth of his third child and Clarkson confronting his heart health crisis.

Clarkson was rushed to hospital after experiencing alarming symptoms, such as chest tightness and pins and needles in his arm. Tests revealed that one of Clarkson’s three coronary arteries was completely blocked, another was severely narrowed, and the third was so clogged that new branches had formed to compensate. Without swift intervention, Clarkson risked a potentially fatal heart attack.

Following a successful cardiac procedure, Kaleb reassured fans during an appearance on This Morning. “He’s in really good form,” Kaleb said. “I had coffee with him this morning, and he seems strong and well. There were some health issues at the start of the season, as viewers will see, but the show drops tomorrow, and I’m very excited for everyone to watch it.”

Reflecting on the new series, Kaleb described it as his favorite so far, highlighting the emotional depth and business challenges portrayed. On a personal note, he candidly shared about life with three children and his decision to stop expanding his family due to the busy lifestyle.

Clarkson himself humorously recounted his near-miss on This Morning: “I’m back and not dead. The Grim Reaper will have to wait. It was f***ing close, though.” He credits a moment of awareness—feeling unusual sensations during a phone scroll—for prompting him to seek medical help in time.

Fans can catch Clarkson’s Farm Season 5, streaming on Amazon Prime Video starting June 3. Meanwhile, This Morning continues to provide updates on Clarkson’s journey and Kaleb’s life every weekday on ITV1 and ITVX.
