Jeremy Clarkson, the star of the popular series Clarkson’s Farm, has recently parted with one of his most expensive pieces of farming equipment, suffering a significant financial loss. At 65, Clarkson is learning to manage his farming finances more carefully after some costly experiences.
In the fourth season of Clarkson’s Farm on Prime Video, Jeremy purchased a high-tech Lamborghini tractor for a whopping £85,000. Boasting 48 gears and 188 buttons, the state-of-the-art tractor was a major investment. However, less than a year later, Clarkson decided to sell it at auction.
The tractor fetched £70,500, marking a loss of at least £14,500. Auction house Cheffins reported a keen interest with 62 bids before the deal was sealed. Clarkson and his on-screen rival Kaleb Cooper were both present at the auction. Kaleb, who has expressed skepticism about the tractor’s usability on the farm, has clashed with Clarkson over its complexity.

When a fan asked on social media whether he truly had to sell the tractor, Clarkson was candid: “I’m starting to understand that when it comes to farming, you have to be sensible. Took a big financial hit on that tractor as well.”
Clarkson has always been forthright about the financial challenges of farming. In the first season, it was revealed that his Diddly Squat Farm earned just £144 in its first year. This candidness has left fans curious about the farm’s profitability.
One viewer joked on social media, “Having watched all the series, they’re entertaining. But don’t try to convince me he earns more from farming than from Amazon Video.”
To this, Clarkson replied, “I could earn more from selling my toenail clippings than farming. And I fear this year will be worse than ever.”
Despite these setbacks, Jeremy Clarkson’s personal net worth remains substantial. It’s estimated that Clarkson’s Farm has generated as much as £200 million, largely through Amazon deals, merchandise, books, and related media. The latest season offers six new episodes chronicling the ups and downs he faces managing his 1,000-acre Oxfordshire farm, featuring pig farming, land disputes, and his ongoing rivalry with Kaleb.
Clarkson’s Farm continues to be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
