James Martin’s Two-Ingredient Breakfast Choice After Impressive Three-Stone Weight Loss

Celebrity chef James Martin recently revealed his favorite two-ingredient breakfast choice after his remarkable three-stone weight loss. The host of the popular ITV show, James Martin’s Saturday Morning, shared the dish, dubbing it “simple and very tasty”.

Martin, known for his love of regional dishes, recently compiled a collection of recipes from Spain in his book ‘James Martin’s Spanish Adventure’. The 52-year-old chef’s weight loss journey included a significant dietary shift with fish now making up 80 percent of his meals, while still holding onto his love for butter.

His favorite two-ingredient breakfast recipe, grilled tomatoes on toast, and barbecued leeks with lardons and hazelnuts, can be easily recreated at home.

In a previous podcast appearance, Martin revealed that his passion for motor racing was the catalyst for his weight loss, emphasizing that he needed to be able to move freely in and out of cars. Despite the lifestyle changes, Martin’s love for butter remains steadfast, as evidenced by the 517-page book he penned on the topic, titled ‘Butter: Comforting, Delicious, Versatile - Over 130 Recipes Celebrating Butter’.

Rather than hitting the gym, Martin credited his roots as a “farmer’s kid” for his weight loss, emphasizing his preference for simple, high-quality ingredients and pure, uncomplicated cooking.

James Martin first honed his culinary skills from home cooks and subsequently fine-tuned them in France. His culinary expertise has been showcased in various television programs on BBC and ITV. Don’t miss James Martin’s Saturday Morning on ITV, airing from 9.30am to 11.40am.
